We’re Sarah and Gabe!

In the fall of 2019 we decided to embark on our most challenging adventure yet: hitchhiking around Africa. As if that wasn’t an ambitious enough goal, we set a collective budget for ourselves of $10/day. That’s right, $5 each per day! We hope our journey can alleviate some of the misconceptions surrounding hitchhiking and traveling around Africa in general. Our current route takes us through 30 countries to get from Morocco, down to South Africa, and back up to Egypt.
